Michael P. Lewis
Michael Lewis formed The Lewis Firm in 2009. His experience includes everything from conducting investigations to briefing issues before the United States Supreme Court. His practice now centers on the representation of businesses and individuals involved in high-stakes litigation.
Before forming The Lewis Firm, Michael practiced with one of Washington’s oldest and most esteemed law firms, Arnold & Porter LLP. At Arnold & Porter, Michael was engaged to handle legal issues spanning a spectrum of substantive areas, from antitrust to federal preemption. Michael began his legal career in the Kansas City and Washington offices of Bryan Cave LLP. At Bryan Cave, Michael developed an aptitude for uncompromising, street savvy litigation practicing under some of the best trial lawyers in the business.
Michael graduated with honors from The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University, with degrees in philosophy and communication.
Michael is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Missouri, Kansas, and the United States District Courts for Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
